OMG!!!! You know how I am My Friend, at pulling stuff out of thin air. Well, I have done it again! I simply can't believe it!! I swear!! I just had to come home and immediately write and tell you because NO one believes me!!
It started 2 months ago when I went into this upscale little boutique with a verrry wealthy friend and saw this absoooolutely darling little winter hat that fit me so perfectly. I have a small head (big brain ) but hard to fit head for a hat and I loved it but admired it and watched her shop and left. She filled out a card with my birthday (Jan 6th ) and I got a happy bd card from the shop with a 20% discount for the month of January. Oh big deal I thought, not my kinda store,,,,YET!! shoved the card in my overloaded purse. Well today I drove by the store and they had a sign outside,, 50-80% off,,winter clearance! ah ha!! My hat!! I went in. Oh crap, no hat with the very few left, I ask about it and was told they sold out fast because they were so fashionable. I thought , I want it soooo bad! I walked by the shelf that I and the cashier had just looked through so carefully, removing what few hats were left to no avail and I stopped dead in my tracks. There it was in the front, all by itself in MY size!! My hat!! the girl asked where I got it ? I told her on the shelf with the other 4 hats and she acted like I was nuts! I was crying. I still am. It was marked $15. It costs $45!! She couldn't understand and she had to sell it to me for that! I then gave her my birthday card for 20% off! She had to sit down on her stool! She said nothing like that had ever happened and she had to make a call to the owner! The owner told her to sell it as the price dictates with my card!! The owner asked to speak to me and said it was an indication that I was to be a customer in the future and welcome to their store!
I never cease to be amazed AIR, Life is Good and we ARE powerful if we let go and simply live it!!
