My mom has always adored Desi Arnaz. When it comes to "loving" either Lucy or Desi, she chose Desi long ago for his charm, charisma and personality!
Whenever I drive to San Diego, I always travel from Oceanside to Del Mar on Pacific Coast Hwy., one of my favorite destinations. I LOVE visiting Del Mar. And Desi loved that beautiful town, too! He lived in a beachfront house in Del Mar from 1960 until his death in 1986.
On my most recent visit to San Diego, I decided I would locate Desi's former house in Del Mar and take a photo of it for my mom.
An internet search told me he had lived at 1920 Ocean Front.
I happily drove down PCH, basking in the joy of being both in the vortex AND in Del Mar! I didn't have a map or GPS with me, so I had NO idea how to find Desi's house. There are countless cul-de-sacs, gates and private driveways surrounding the beachfront cottages, which give the community an air of mystery and exclusiveness. And the street addresses are difficult to decipher.
Trusting my inner guidance, I was inspired to park one block from the ocean.
I said "Okay, Divine Source---lead me to Desi Arnaz's house right now. I don't know where it is. YOU have to show me because there are probably 300 houses overlooking the ocean in this part of town and the street addresses aren't visible. Amd I don't know where Ocean Front Dr. is, either."
I glanced over to my right and amazingly----I was parked right in front of Desi's house! A small street sign said "Ocean Front." The number "1920" was on the garage door-----barely visible, but there it was.
I was thrilled---Source had magically led me to Desi's house with no effort on my part. I got out of my car, discovered a nearby pathway leading to the ocean, and found the front of his house as I strolled along the sand, only 20 feet from the waves.
I was overjoyed at how easily I found Desi Arnaz's house, but not surprised.....because I was in the vortex!
