From Arita, lady bugs

I saw lots of aphids nibbling away on the Russian Red Kale in my garden (it is delicious!). Just then I heard my neighbor across the street came to take some firewood from a felled tree. When I went to offer to plug his chain saw inside the house and I noticed lots of ladybugs gathered in my front bed on the Silverbells. They were right on the tips of the leaves - ladybugs bouncing in the breeze in their shiny red coats. I gathered many of them into a glass jar and introduced them to my kale. Feasting has continued on various levels of the food chain, and I am a delighted observer of it all!
