From Yaki : Won the lottery
I woke up like I do most mornings, basking, appreciating my physical body, my room, and my bed, people in my life, Abraham, joy, and all the lovely birds outside my window. That same morning I received the news that my step father Ray was found dead on the kitchen floor, in that moment I jumped out of my bed and twirled around in joy because I could feel the benefit of his instant alignment with his Source. Ray put a lifetime of well being in his Vortex and I could be nothing but excited for him. I imagined him dancing with new legs, laughing with new lungs and loving with a heart that beats the drum of wellness and never skips a beat.
The next day I was on my way to Los Angeles to help plan a party in his honor. I celebrated and remembered all the happy joyous times. The spirit filled every moment. Every corner I turned I found people waiting to help me and satisfy all of the preferences. I’d go to starbucks and the barista would give me the coffee free, the cleaners didn’t charge me for pressing his suit, I found resources in seemingly hidden places. Every moment felt like a surprise and delight.
The night of Ray’s in the vortex party, I spoke to my brother as I headed to meet the group. He asked me to pick up some beer, which is unusual for him but an absolutely perfect impulse that would lead to the best surprise and delight moment of my life. I stopped at the first liquor store I saw on the way to the after party. I purchased my items, collected my change and at the last minute felt draw to buy a lottery ticket. I bought a ticket and a scratch off. I was excited and eager to scratch my way to another joyful moment. I scratched and I WON!
The next morning I looked online and realized one of the California Lottery offices was less than 5 miles from where I was staying at the time. I drove myself down to the offices and happily filled out all the paper work. This was the first time I was EAGER and HAPPY to pay taxes. I believed it before I saw the evidence and in the least suspected moment; the universe surprised and delighted me. Anything is possible within the Vortex.
