From Jeannette, getting an invite

I was delighted to have been in my friends' beautiful downtown apartment this morning just in time to see the start of the L.A. marathon from their balcony. The surprise and delight was waking up at 4 in the morning and getting an invite to go hang out at this place so early. A live band was set up right outside on the corner of the street and the whole apartment was full of delightful music all morning. Another surprise and delight today was getting to know 4 wonderful and interesting people.
