YES! I found the perfect place to hang a hammock in the back corner of the yard - between an orange tree and a large crepe myrtle. It's tucked in just the right height and sway, next to the noisy splash of the pond. I tried it out yesterday and marveled at the way this wonderful garden is situated right in the middle of traffic and business (just over the fence), and how plentiful are the birds and insects and sweetness.
I recalled when I was laid off from a job when it relocated from Nashville to Atlanta. I didn't know what to do. I found my way into the hammock in my back yard, hung between two very tall graceful trees. As I looked up into them I felt like I was being cradled by the universe. The canopy of leaves and the breeze and the sun and the sway and I had nothing "to do" but relax and know that I was being upheld. I returned daily to my cradle and relished that feeling. Within the week I received a check for $3000 from the IRS. I had overpaid them some years before and was being repaid with interest.
Surprises are the best!
